Warranty and part qualities

All our repairs come with a warranty. How long it lasts depends on the part we replace: original or compatible and, for iPhone screens, its quality.

How long the warranty lasts

Warranty by part
PartOriginalCompatible
Screens 12 months 3 months
Batteries 6 months 3 months
Other parts 12 months 3 months

On iPhone, Soft-OLED screens and high-quality Incell screens (iPhone XR, 11 and SE) have a 12-month warranty.

On iPhone we recommend the Soft-OLED screen. For other repairs, we fit the original part whenever it's available. If it isn't, we explain how the compatible part differs from the original in quality, price and warranty, and we only fit it if you agree. We never switch to a different type of part without asking you first.

Part qualities

iPhone

  • Original Ask about availability 12-month warranty

Service Pack screen made by the manufacturer itself: exactly the same as the one the phone comes with from the factory, with the same features, and the phone recognises it as original.

  • Soft-OLED Recommended 12-month warranty

Flexible OLED panel like the original: true blacks, accurate colours and similar battery use. It's the highest-quality compatible option.

On the iPhone XR, the 11 and the SE (2nd and 3rd generation), which came with an LCD screen, we fit a high-quality Incell: it keeps the original technology and has the same 12-month warranty.

  • Incell Budget 3-month warranty

LCD screen: it changes the original technology, it's thicker, blacks are less deep and it uses more battery.

Other brands

On Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, Google Pixel and other brands, the part we fit depends on what's available for your model.

  • Original 12-month warranty

Service Pack part made by the manufacturer itself, the same one the phone has from the factory. With it, the fingerprint reader and the proximity sensor work properly. It's the option we always fit when it's available.

  • Compatible 3-month warranty

Part made by another manufacturer for your model. With some compatible screens, the fingerprint reader or the proximity sensor may not work as well as with the original. We only fit one if no original is available and you agree, after explaining how it differs in quality, price and warranty.

“Unknown part” messages

When we fit a compatible part, especially on iPhone, the phone may show a message such as “Unknown part”. It's only a system notice: the part works properly.

What the warranty covers

The warranty covers faults in the part we fitted, for its whole warranty period. It doesn't cover faults caused by knocks, drops, pressure, damp or liquids, or parts that someone else has opened or tampered with. Bear in mind that a knock doesn't always break the glass: if, for example, the screen stops displaying and the phone's frame is damaged, or the screen shows scratches or impact marks, the fault is due to that knock and isn't covered, even if the glass is still intact.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Go to the same shop where we did the repair, ideally with your repair receipt or invoice. If you don't have it, we'll look up the repair in your customer record.
  2. We check the phone there and then to see whether the fault is covered by the warranty.
  3. If we can't tell straight away, we may need to keep the phone to check it properly and, if necessary, open it.
