Signs that your battery is worn out

  • A charge lasts much less than it used to.
  • The phone switches itself off even though it still shows some battery.
  • The battery percentage drops or jumps suddenly.
  • The battery has swollen: the back cover or the screen is lifting.
  • On iPhone, Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging says it's time to replace it.

If the battery has swollen, stop charging the phone and bring it in as soon as you can.

How we work

  1. We check the battery's condition and make sure the fault isn't coming from the charging port.
  2. We tell you whether an original battery is available. If not, we explain how the compatible one differs in quality, price and warranty, and we only fit it if you agree.
  3. We replace the battery and check that it charges properly.
